Transcribe specific parts of your handwriting (in drawings)
NotePlan's AI prompts support sending images to OpenAI to be processed. If the regular drawings transcription is not sufficient for you because it transcribes the complete content of your handwriting (which can be cumbersome if you add say tasks in between your journaling), you can select the image and prompt only to transcribe the tasks selectively.
In your drawing write the tasks in a different way than the other parts of your text, for example, use a different color or simply add a circle before the title of the task. Then close and save the drawing and select it inside the editor like regular text (you need to tap a bit right of the drawing, so you don't open it again).
Once selected, tap on the AI button in the toolbar on iOS, then "Prompt AI on selection", and describe the tasks in the text field, like "Transcribe the red text in this image". Finish by tapping on "Prompt AI". On macOS the process is similar. You need to open the command bar after selecting the image using CMD+J, type the prompt and either select "Prompt AI" at the bottom or hit CMD+I.
