How to open Sidebar Filters?

We have introduced filters in the sidebar (Sidebar Filters) with the update v3.11 (see video in the changelog). This means you can now use your existing filters and show them side by side with your notes to keep an overview of your tasks and to make it easier to plan things into the future.

Mac

In the right calendar sidebar (open it if it's closed) click on the "Timeline" dropdown button to select a filter:

iPhone

On the iPhone you have to open the timeline first, which is not visible by default due to the screen size. 

1. Tap on the calendar clock button bottom right of a note to open the timeline.

2. Now you can select a filter by choosing it from the dropdown and tapping on "Timeline".

iPad

On the iPad you don't need to open the timeline, because it's already opened in the right sidebar. You may need to open the right sidebar though, depending on if you are in landscape mode or portrait or have closed it manually.

Filter the currently opened note

From v3.21.2, filters can follow the note you're working on. Create a filter and type {{currentNote}} into its "Path contains" field. Selected in the sidebar, this filter shows the tasks (or headings, checklists, and more, depending on its settings) of the note currently opened in the editor — and reloads automatically whenever you open another note or switch days. It works in the Mac sidebar, the iPhone timeline sheet, and the iPad sidebar.
